My interests run the gamut. I love new challenges and my life so far has been one big adventure.
Growing up in Motown, I was a car kid through and through. My dad owned over 139 vehicles. I recently fulfilled one of my dreams of owning a vintage car. While surfing Craig's list, an unusual looking 1960 Pink Rambler stood way out from the rest, I knew I needed to rescue that ole girl. Audrey is now in my garage!
I soon realized I really liked everything about the 60's so it just seemed natural to delve into the world of vintage any way I could, hence CalamityGirl was born.
I also like trucks, and about six years ago I figured out the Hummer H3 is perfect vehicle to fill that void. Its offroading capabilities have afforded me to experience some of the most awesome trails in Texas, Utah and Michigan.
When I'm not at my 9-5 job, you can find me hunting, shopping and looking for pieces that will be suitable for CalamityGirl. The beauty of vintage is each piece is unique en son genre, and hopefully reminds you of days gone by. Remember those earrings your Grandmother wore to church on Sunday?
Please shop often to discover new treasures to add to your collection...because like me, you are probably a Vintage Fashionista.
